EntrepreneurOnFire BadgeTroyI had a lot a fun the other day talking with my friend John Lee Dumas of EntrepreneurOnFire.com. We covered a lot of ground in this interview and it was one of the most fun ones I’ve done in quite awhile. If you really want to understand how to conduct and great great interviews, you should check this out – John does an awesome job.

EntrepreneurOnFire Podcast has become incredibly popular, getting hundreds of thousands of downloads per month at this point – it’s insane. And podcasting traffic is sooooo powerful. If you want to know/learn more about podcasting and how to use it effectively for your business, you should check out our FREE Podcasting for Traffic ebook here.

We get nearly 13 minute time on site metrics from our podcasting traffic – yeah, that’s how powerful it is.

Podcasting has become the radio shows of today. Better yet, it’s radio on demand that you can take with you wherever you go – in the car, on your iPhone (or other smartphone), on a USB thumb drive or any other device. This allows you to GO WHERE YOUR AUDIENCE is instead of forcing them to try to come to you. This is a powerful dynamic in marketing your message.

It used to be that SEO tried to force everyone to “come to you”, but today, smart marketers recognize that it’s more about “going where your customers are” and meeting them there! Whether that’s on a YouTube channel, a free audio download site, a doc share site, a podcasting site or anywhere else. This new style of marketing is what we call multi-channel marketing and content syndication and if you’d like to know more about it and how we can help you out with it, go here or just reach out to me on Facebook.

In this interview you’ll hear John and I talk a lot about coaching and masterminds – something that is my specialty. If you’d like to talk with me about either, just fill out a strategy session application here – don’t worry, it’s free. I’ll review your application and see if I can help you, and if I can, I’ll contact you to schedule a time for us to talk – no obligations, no cost – just you and me talking about how to improve your business.

Great interview Troy – thank you. Yours is the first entrepreneur on fire interview I’ve listened to twice (and I’ve listened to quite a few interviews!) – very inspiring. I love what you’re doing. I’ve just subscribed to your podcast and look forward to hearing more of what you have to say.

I heard the interview Troy, good stuff. I love when podcasters interview other podcasters – it makes for a really good interview usually.

Hey thanks Ryan… yeah John and I had a really good time on the interview. It’s always fun for me to do interviews with an experienced interviewer because it just leads to a natural and fun conversation. Unfortunately not all interviewers are as good and sometimes they turn out a bit awkward, but John’s great (he’s had lots of practice – lol)… Take care!
