Another great podcast guys. I have been listening to them all for the last couple weeks, and have finally caught up! This EMD podcast especially rang true for me as I have a lot of websites based on this method, and your discussing how this isn’t necessarily a business model but a tactic made some sense to me. Anyway, just wanted to stop by and say hi and thanks and be first to comment.

        • Mike February 12, 2013 at 1:37 am #

First of all Nate – thank you very much for listening to very podcast! That’s awesome! There is nothing wrong with doing what you are doing, you just need to be realistic with yourself about whether you are creating a business or just sticking your toes in the water. Hi to you and thanks for the comment!

Do you have any new news or information to report on your case study? Sounds interesting,

        • Mike February 12, 2013 at 1:44 am #

Hi Zara, no we don’t have anything new to report at the moment as that would ruin the surprise in the future. Stay tuned and thanks for stopping by.

Isnt every domain an EMD in some form?

        • Mike February 12, 2013 at 1:47 am #

Well, sort of, I mean if you just make up a word, like many brands do, you will in essence be creating a domain that is an exact match of the keyword for your brand name – lol. Yeah, in a way they all are. Its just some EMD domains exist simply to abuse and manipulate the SERP’s and some are for branding. You want the branding type to build a lasting business on. Thanks for stopping by..

Great as always – you pair of nut cases!

        • Troy February 26, 2013 at 1:05 pm #

I’m just gonna ASSUME that you MUST be talking about Mike here…

          LMAO

I am pretty sure that he was talkin about the both of ya. lol. On a serious note, I have also been listening to you guys for a while and have seen many site owners use domains that they thought was cute or funny or meant something to them at that very moment not thinking about the money that is flying right by them by doing this. You kind of have to think, what is it that people are going to be searching for?

            • Mike March 1, 2013 at 6:40 pm #

lol – to some extent that is true. Thanks for stopping by

EMD as lead capture site. Alternative branding strategy and stealth marketing for local businesses. Good ideas.

          Thanks Geo!

When someone copy and paste from your site and you have TYNT installed, does it track everything that they copy and paste or just links? Oh, and how hard is it to use because I am a bit of nut when it comes to trying to figure stuff if you have to paste codes within your site.

        • Mike March 7, 2013 at 9:48 am #

Hi Bobby, just copy some text from our site and paste it somewhere and you will see exactly what Tynt does. As long as a person keeps the content with link in tact, Tynt will track it. There website woyld explain it best.

          Thanks for stopping by!
